You Are My Sunshine (Hangul: 너는 내 운명; RR: Neoneun nae unmyeong, literally: "You are my destiny") is a 2005 South Korean film written and directed by Park Jin-pyo, and starring Jeon Do-yeon.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]} It was released in Korea on 23 September 2005.^[7]

The official English title is named after the Jimmie Davis song "You Are My Sunshine," which is used on the soundtrack.

Seok-joong, a farmer in his mid thirties, is desperate to find a wife and settle down. After backing out of a scheme to set him up with a Filipino bride, he falls head over heels in love with a local dabang delivery girl, Eun-ha, and starts showering her with gifts. Although Eun-ha is initially unimpressed, she is eventually won over by his kindhearted nature, and the two get married. The couple's marital bliss is short lived, however, as Eun-ha tests positive for HIV/AIDS, and is then tracked down by her abusive ex-husband, who takes her away and forces her back into prostitution.

Géminis is an Argentine-French drama film written and directed by Albertina Carri and released in 2005, set in a rich family where two adolescent children have started an incestuous relationship.

Meme and her brother Jere are teenagers, still at home under a passive father Daniel and a massively domineering mother Lucía. Ezequiel, the eldest child, arrives from Spain with his bride Montse, who finds both the family and the society of upper-middle-class Argentina hollow and pretentious. Gradually the other characters learn that Meme and Jere, neither of whom has developed satisfactory outside links, have started an incestuous sexual relationship.

A domineering mother with a seemingly perfect family in Argentina, is unaware of a taboo relationship happening with her youngest twin children.

Snoop Dogg's "musical" film inspired by his preceding album R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta) The Masterpiece, Boss 'n up debuted on 6 December 2005. It came out in DVD format. It was the first release of the newly founded Snoopadelic Films, run by Snoop Dogg.

Snoop stars as a grocery clerk named Cordé Christopher, a young and magnetic man, subject to keen female interest. He becomes a protégé of Orange Juice, an experienced pimp, after being informed of the better and richer life he can lead if he becomes a pimp. OJ cultivates Cordé's 'talent' and shares street knowledge with him, including the Rules of the "Pimping" Game. To some degree OJ treats Corde like a son. After achieving success Cordé has to choose between the love of his life, Chardonnay Allen, and his successful career as a pimp.

The casting includes other musicians like Atlanta rapper Lil Jon plays the role of Sheriff, a strip club owner who becomes a partner in Corde's business, Dominique, Corde's attractive attorney who frees him from prison, and comedian Scruncho is Hucky G, Corde's own pimping protégé.

When Corde Christopher gets a visit from legendary pimp, he's delighted as he just happens to be broke. He gets sucked into a dangerous game of prostitution, money and murder and ends up having to choose between this world and living the meaningful life he has always aspired to.

Casanova is a 2005 American romantic film directed by Lasse Hallströmstarring Heath Ledger and loosely based on the life of Giacomo Casanova.

A young woman (Helen McCrory) tearfully leaves her son (Eugene Simon) to live with his grandmother and promises to return for him someday. Several years later, in 1753, in Venice, Casanova (Heath Ledger), is notorious for his promiscuity with women, his adventures being represented in puppet theatresaround the city. The Doge, (Tim McInnerny) the ruler of the city, is sympathetic to Casanova, but cannot be too lenient on him as to avoid trouble with the church. He warns Casanova that he must soon marry or he will be exiled from the city.^[1]

Casanova is falling in love with Francesca (Sienna Miller), who writes illegal feminist books under the name of a man, Bernardo Guardi, and argues for women's rights as Dr. Giordano de Padua. Her mother (Lena Olin) pushes her to marry Paprizzio (Oliver Platt), a rich man from Genoa whom she has never seen. When Paprizzio arrives in Venice, Casanova lies to him and says that the hotel he booked is closed and he persuades him to stay at his house. Casanova also lies and says that his nom de plume is Bernardo Guardi. While Paprizzio, preparing to visit Francesca, stays at Casanova's house, Casanova visits Francesca, pretending to be Paprizzio.

During the Venetian Carnival, Casanova confesses his true identity to Francesca, which makes her angry. Casanova is arrested by the Venetian Inquisition for crimes against sexual morality, such as debauchery, heresy, and fornication with a novice. He saves Francesca by pretending to be Bernardo Guardi, which impresses her very much. At his trial, Francesca reveals that it is in fact she who is Bernardo Guardi, and both are sentenced to death.

Just as Casanova and Francesca are about to be hanged in the Piazza San Marco, they are saved by an announcement that the Pope gave amnesty to all prisoners who were to be executed on that day, as it was the Pope's birthday. It is later discovered that the "Cardinal" who gave the announcement was actually an impostor who happens to be Casanova's stepfather, wedded to his long-lost mother who came back for him just as she promised when Casanova was a child.

As they all escape on Paprizzio's boat, Francesca's brother, Giovanni (Charlie Cox), stays behind to continue Casanova's legendary womanizing.
