Oliver (Pawel Szajda) is a young American talented pianist Polish origin. After stopping his European tour , he is forced to repay its organizers ¼ million € .During the trip he meets a colorful character Frank Goretzky'ego ( Janusz Gajos), a former professor of mathematics, which is a big fan of horse racing . He dreams of returning to America with heads held high, but this is only possible thanks to winning valuable prizes. From that moment companions strive to succeed. After a time they become friends. Together we meet Frank dreams of winning at the horse races, which in turn allows Oliver to redeem his personal freedom. After returning to normalcy after the dramatic ending a marriage, a young man is able to open up to new love.
