In a magical, unconventional place, the "Poetry Brothel", people meet to get erotic stories to read and read at night. The boss of this brothel introduces every guest to a man or a woman, who then take the visitors into the world of reciting and telling stories. Four different stories are implemented in short film sequences. A waitress is standing between a lover and a lover, a man tells of his art-loving mother, who sneaks into the dwelling of strange men, a woman is given a date for a birthday and a young couple finds themselves together again
