Fifty Shades of Black is a 2016 American comedy film directed by Michael Tiddes and starring Marlon Wayans, who also co-wrote and co-produced the film. The film is a parody of the 2015 erotic romantic drama film Fifty Shades of Grey, and was released theatrically on January 29, 2016. It grossed $22 million at the worldwide box office on a $5 million budget. It was also Florence Henderson's last film before her death.
Christian Black (Marlon Wayans) introduces shy college student Hannah Steele (Kali Hawk) to the world of "romance" after she interviews him for her school newspaper. Their hilariously kinky relationship stumbles forward despite Christian's spectacular shortcomings as a lover and the over-the-top antics of his cluelessly racist adoptive mother Claire (Jane Seymour), his extremely well-endowed brother Eli (Affion Crockett) and Hannah's hyper-sexual roommate Kateesha (Jenny Zigrino).
